Having moved across the pond in the mid 2000s, Ali and Nick continued their soccer journey in the United States. As they transitioned from players to amateur club managers and organizers, they experienced first hand some of the challenges facing the grassroots sports community. Primary amongst those being the barriers of cost and quality, with the exorbitant prices of equipment, fields, and facilities limiting access to the beautiful game.
